After seeing CNN’s release of “I Am Transgender, And I Want My Voice To Be Heard, we were immediately excited and inspired. CNN only offers 12 static images, and while this is a start, we know we are far more diverse and dynamic. We at Gender (Free) For All also know we can do something bigger, better, and evolving, so we put together a new project: http://transfaces.com

This is where you come in: right now we only have a few people on the site. We want to be able to show our diversity, beauty, and individuality. We want transgender, genderqueer, intersex, and gender non-conforming people. We want your face!

Our goal is to have a site where people can come and see the faces of non-cisgendered people from all walks of life; where one can see how truly diverse we are, and how many of us are out there.

If you’re interested in submitting a photo to the project, please check out the guidelines here: http://transfaces.com/submit-a-photo/

With your help, we can make this project a success!

AUGUST 7, 2010 Update - As part of our new focus and name change to TransEnough, we are in the process of consolidating all of our projects into one organizational website TransEnough.com. As such, there will no longer be a separate Trans Faces website. Once we have finished creating the new site, Trans Faces will be incorporated into the new site as a project of the TransEnough. In the meantime, feel free to visit the old TransEnough site here. We thank you for your patience.
